Jeremy Sweeney went to the Bar in 1985. He has an Honours degree in Law from the University of Queensland.

He has a broad commercial practice. He has advised and appeared in many disputes involving contractual, property and equitable rights. He has particular experience in disputes through the various stages of the property development cycle, such as disputes involving oppression of minorities in development vehicles, construction issues, disputes with and between financiers and insurers, conveyancing disputes, strata disputes and insolvency issues.
